(BTW, I'm not arguing with you, just in case anyone thought that). You know how you buy something at a store and it's marked lower than it rings up? What usually happens? You either get it for free or you get double the difference in cost or something. Customer (when telling the truth) is always right. If you had proved to him that his site said it included lines (not photoshopped that part in, again, not saying you did, but giving an example of a threat or extortion), then it's up to him to make it right. Calling a vendor out on an error isn't a dirty tactic, it's getting what you paid for. He should have realized that he would have lost a $2k sale over a $40 part, and sent the lines out ASAP. You paid more than that to ship everything else back, so you lost out in the deal, and shouldn't have. In all my dealings with Coz from 2002 to 2009, I never once had an issue with a part or shipping that wasn't immediately resolved via phone call or email. His customer service was (and may still be) stellar, but I haven't purchased from him in 2 years because I also value integrity. IMHO, I know CZP has lower prices on some items, but that doesn't mean that other vendors don't want the business. They're busy running their businesses, so they don't have the time you (the consumer) do to shop around. I'll always try to find the best price, and if it happens to be at CZP, I'll bid it out. I'll contact IPP or SZ and ask "Hey, CZP has this commodity at this price (has to be EXACT SAME thing), can you match or beat it? I'd rather give you the business" You'd be surprised how often they work with you, because they do value the business.
